Edward M. Scheckowitz, M.D., earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, graduating cum laude with departmental honors in Economics. He went on to earn his Masters Degree in Physiology and subsequently his Medical Degree from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.

| Dr. Scheckowitz completed two years of General Surgery Residency and four years of Urology Residency at University Hospitals of Cleveland, at Case Western Reserve University. U.S. News and World Report ranks University Hospitals of Cleveland as one of the nation’s best hospitals for Urology. Dr. Scheckowitz has authored numerous journal articles, textbook chapters, and presented his work at the American Urological Association annual meeting. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Urology. |

Dr. Scheckowitz has been in urology private practice in Florida since 1995. He currently is on the medical staff of Delray Medical Center, Boca Raton Community Hospital, and Pinecrest Rehabilitation Hospital.
An active member of the community, Dr. Scheckowitz is sought after as a speaker for hospital lecture series, and enjoys speaking to various clubs organizations. He has lectured on a variety of topics of interest in urology to physicians, nurse practitioners, and pharmacists, including treatment of the prostate, impotence, the overactive bladder, and male menopause. An advocate of staying abreast of advancements, he was among the first urologists in Florida to incorporate technologies such as the Indigo laser and T.V.T. urethropexy into his practice.
